October 13th & 14th: 2007 RMA Festival Weekend


September 20th, 2007

Join us Saturday and Sunday, October 13th & 14th for this year’s Renaissance Martial Arts Festival. The weekend’s goal is to expose participants to new techniques, concepts and ideas to a wide range of martial arts. All arts and experience levels are encouraged to participate. Each day features workshops taught by Master Instructors from all over the North Eastern United States. This year’s schedule is:

September 15th: Sifu Cardona is coming to Albany


September 9th, 2007

Duanesburg Tae Kwon Do is hosting Sifu Mark Cardona, Saturday September 15th for two workshops.

1pm – 2.20pm
5 Animal Kung Fu (Beginner/Intermediate)
Tigers, Crane, Leopard, Snake, Dragon… while they might seem fun and fl ashy, Kung Fu’s core animals are deadly serious. Sifu Cardona will introduce you to the stances, blocks, strikes and specifi c applications of the different animals.

2.30pm – 5pm
Monkey and Drunken Kung Fu (Intermediate/Advanced)
Developed after the 5 Animals, Monkey and Drunken Kung Fu are unpredictable, deceptive systems. Learn how changes
in height, angle, balance, and timing help to fool opponents, letting you strike from any position

Each workshop is $25 or you can take both for $40
